TRANSPATAGONIA OFF ROAD: The South Atlantic Ocean and the Andes Range

 

We invite you to go across the Patagonia using secondary roads trough an infrequently used gravel roads. From the Valdes Peninsula to the Andes Range.

We will travel from Buenos Aires to the Valdes Peninsula, located on the coast of the South Atlantic. The Right Whale comes here from far away every year to take care of their offspring and perform their mating rituals. You can have the privilege to observe them in this wild life sanctuary. We will go across the deserted Patagonia plateaus and we will make heading to the west where the great Andes Range will show you it's astonishing landscapes.

Our support vehicle will always be close, taking your luggage, and we will be ready to offer you a cold soda or repair a flat tire.

Accommodations are a little simpler than on other tours, and a couple of camping nights can be included. Nothing can compare to a sky full of stars in the Patagonia!

This is a personal challenge, where we will all ride together to arrive at the end. This is not a competition or extreme off road. The route is mapped on unused public roads and is ideal for dual-purpose bikes and a driver that wants adventure. The BMW GS, Honda Transalp, AfricaTwin and XR, Kawasaki KLR, Suzuki DR and Yamaha XT or Tenere are some of the ideal bikes for this voyage.

Transpatagonia Off Road, Route:

  • Day 1 Saturday We start in Buenos Aires, heading south.
  • Day 2 Sunday Arrival at the Valdes Peninsula
  • Day 3 Monday Do Whale watching and explore the Valdes Peninsula
  • Day 4 Tuesday Valdes- Gan Gan
  • Day 5 Wednesday Gan Gan-Ingeniero Jacobacci
  • Day 6 Thursday Ingeniero Jacobacci-Villa la Angostura. Luxury Nigth!
  • Day 7 Friday Day off in Villa la Angostura. Ideal to explore the 7 lakes route or visit Bariloche. Another luxury night.
  • Day 8 Saturday Villa la Angostura-General Acha
  • Day 9 Sunday Arrival at Buenos Aires
